Herbivora is a Dutch, plant-based cheese brand focused on sustainability and high-quality, organic ingredients. This international collaborative concept project was designed to promote Herbivora’s values while positioning it as a compelling alternative to traditional dairy products.
From the start, our team wanted to frame this product as part of a greater agricultural ecosystem: that Herbivora is as much a part of nature as the plants in a garden.
To convey this, I came up with the concept “cheese that grows with your garden”. This tagline is designed to be both eye-catching and thought-provoking. It immediately grabs your attention by challenging expectations-after all you’re probably thinking, “Cheese can’t grow in a garden!” But that’s exactly the point. We want consumers to think about this product in a fresh, new way, as a plant-based, garden-inspired product that feels like a natural extension of the earth itself.
By framing Herbivora this way, we’re offering a product that feels rooted in the same sustainable, wholesome values as the vegetables and herbs you might grow at home.
Implementing AI
For this project, I leveraged AI-powered image generation tools to create initial mockups and layout ideas. These tools provided inspiration for how the food could be arranged in a way that was both visually appealing and aligned with the campaign’s messaging.
These compositions allowed our team to explore different styles, test visual balance, and refine the overall aesthetic before moving into actual photography and editing.
